OTHERWISE: Johnson & Johnson Must Pay $8.3 million in First Hip-Implant Case - NYTimes.com: Los Angeles, California An $8.3 million jury verdict in the first trial about the ASR hip implant puts Johnson & Johnson on notice that they should move quickly to resolve the 10,000,00 open claims. They're going to have to sell a lot of Band Aids to make up for this hip implant disaster.
